Ribs
Neely's ribs will arrive fully cooked. Ribs only need to be thawed and
re-heated (not cooked) to an internal temperature of 150' to 160' F. always
remove ribs from plastic wrap before warming.
Conventional Oven
Preheat oven to 350'F. Place ribs on a foil-lined baking pan, meat side up.
Season ribs with Neely's seasoning, if desired. Place pan on middle rack of
oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated to an internal temperature of
160'F. Depending on your oven, you may achieve this temperature within 10 to
15 minutes, if you prefer wet ribs, brush on Neely's barbecue sauce just
prior from removing them from oven. Use a thermometer to check the
temperature.
Outdoor Grill
Preheat grill to medium heat (350'F). Place ribs on grill meat side up. Add
Neely's seasoning to both sides of slab, for gas grills close top, for
charcoal grills leave the lid open. Every two minutes, flip slab and baste
with Neely's barbecue sauce (if you prefer your ribs wet). Depending on your
grill, it will take 8 to 12 minutes to heat ribs
Microwave
Cut thawed slab in half and season with Neely's barbecue seasoning, place in
a microwave-safe dish. Heat on high 3 to 5 minutes or until heated through,
turning halfway through warming time. Brush with Neely's sauce, if desired.
Tips for Ribs
For a great dry rib, brush on a small amount of white distilled vinegar and
then add Neely's seasoning before warming, once the ribs are warmed add more
of the Neely's seasoning. Use tongs to turn ribs instead of a fork. A fork
may cause the ribs to break. Remember, the ribs arrive at your door fully
cooked. Ribs only need to be reheated.
Pulled pork
Neely's pulled pork will arrive at your door fully cooked. Pulled pork only
needs to be thawed and reheated to a temperature 150'F to 160"F. removes
pork from plastic before warming.
Preheat oven to 300'F. Loosen meat with a fork and place in a basting pan or
small aluminum pan with depth. Season pork with Neely's seasoning, cover the
pan and place it on the middle rack. Heat approximately 30 minutes or until
it reaches 160'F (add Neely's sauce during the last 5 minutes of warming if
you prefer). Overheating will cause dry and toughen meat, so check the
pulled pork regularly.
Beef Brisket
Preheat oven to 350'F. Season the brisket on both sides with Neely's
seasoning, then place on a cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet on the middle
rack. Heat the brisket for approximately 45 minutes or until it reaches
165'F. Once your beef is warmed, take it out of the oven and let it rest
before slicing. Always slice against the grain to maximize tenderness.
Hickory smoked Sausage
Neely's smoked sausage will arrive at your door fully cooked. The sausages
only need to be thawed and re-heated to taste throughout. Always remove
sausage from plastic before cooking.
Conventional oven
Preheat oven to 350'F. Place in a pan and put on the middle rack of the
oven. Warm for 5 minutes, then turn the sausage over and warm for 5 minutes
more.
Gas or Charcoal Grill
Remove thawed sausage from the package and place on grill. Warm for 15 to 20
minutes, turning often.
Tip for All Meats
Freeze any thing you don't plan to use within 2-3 days and store meat to be
used immediately in the refrigerator. Always freeze or refrigerate in
original package before use.
Refrigerate leftovers after serving. They will last normally 3 to 4 days
To defrost safely, let thaw overnight in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours or
under running cold water in a sink for 2-3 hours. Never defrost meat at room
temperature.
Never Defrost Meat in the Microwave.
